Studio To Begin Operating Before 2020 NFL Draft

LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - Caesar's Entertainment Corporation announced on Tuesday that ESPN will be building a studio at the LINQ Hotel.

Though an exact date for when the studio will be completed isn't known, it should be up and running in time for the 2020 NFL Draft, which will be held in Las Vegas. The location where the draft will be held has yet to be chosen.

ESPN's entry into Las Vegas comes as the town is experiencing a sports boom like it's never seen. Where before it was just the UNLV Runnin' Rebel basketball team, Vegas now enjoys the Vegas Golden Knights, the NBA Summer League, a new ballpark for the Triple A Las Vegas Aviators and, coming in 2020, the Raiders.

As the growth of sports gambling becomes more mainstream and spreads to areas outside of Las Vegas, there have been an increasing number of agreements between casino companies and sports providers. Recently, Caesar's entered into an agreement with Bleacher Report to build a branded studio inside of the Caesar's Palace sports book. ESPN also recently got into the gambling business with their debut of the first devoted to spreads and trends, "The Daily Wager."

As part of the deal with ESPN, the network will incorporate Caesar's data and branding into its programming within the next few weeks, including odds information generated by Caesars.
