Crash Caused Over 300 Residents To Lose Power

LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - Las Vegas Metro Police are looking for a driver who fled the scene of a traffic accident that left a woman in critical condition. 

It happened early Sunday morning on the Valley's east side. Police say the driver of a Nissan Altima failed to yield the right of way at the intersection of Lake Mead and Los Feliz. The driver of a Nissan Titan pickup then struck the Altima on the driver's side.

The impact of the crash sent the Titan into a nearby electrical box, causing a power outage in the area.  The female driver of the Altima, idenitifed as 34 year old Krystal Barber, was taken to University Medical Center with critical injuries.

The driver and any of the Titan's passengers fled the scene after crash, and police are asking anyone with information to call their Collision Investigation Section at 702-828-3786, or call Crimestoppers at 702-385-5555.
