Cosmopolitan Closing For Two Weeks On Coronavirus Fears

Caesars Properties Staying Open, Closing Buffets

LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - The Cosmopolitan has become the latest Las Vegas Strip hotel to close in an attempt to stop the spread of the coronavirus.

The property will be closed through at least March 31st, with full time employees continuing to get theor benefits over that period.

The Cosmo joins a lengthy list of Strip hotels that will be completely closed through at least the end of the month.

All MGM Resorts properties will be shutting down on Tuesday, as will Wynn Resorts Wynn and Encore Resorts.

Caesars properties remain open, but all the buffets will be closing down until further notice.
