LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - The city of Las Vegas, Clark County, the Southern Nevada Health District and Boyd Gaming are supporting public COVID-19 drive-through testing at the Suncoast Hotel & Casino parking garage at 9090 Alta Drive Friday and Saturday between 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day.

Up to 500 tests will be performed daily. There also will be walk-up testing; no appointments are needed. Identification and a telephone number for each individual are required.

Results will be telephoned to each individual (parent or guardian for minors) within a week.

The testing is by self-administered nasal swab and is free and open to everyone, including children. Testing will be set up to accommodate drive-through clients on the first floor of the Suncoast parking garage; follow the signs. Each person to be tested must have their own roll-down window in the vehicle.

In addition to the Suncoast site, the Southern Nevada Health District has additional testing sites during May-June here.

For more information on testing at the Suncoast, call 702-759-1000.

Also, beginning on Friday, coronavirus testing will be available to the public by appointment at the Walmart in Henderson.

Starting today, a drive-thru testing site will open at 540 Marks Street in Henderson. The drive-thru site will be open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., weather permitting.
