LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - Cheyenne High School was briefly put on lockdown Friday morning after a student was arrested for bringing a gun to school.

Clark County School District Police arrested the student after receiving a tip from another student at the school.

According to Cheyenne's principal, no one was hurt, and no students were in any danger.

The identity of the student has not been released.

As is standard procedure, the gun will be tested to see if it's a positive match for any unsloved crimes.
