Clark County School District leaders will propose a full-time distance learning start to the upcoming school year at a special meeting Tuesday.   The school year would start August 24, with staff reporting August 5 for two weeks of professional training.

In a Monday afternoon tweet, the district called the move "the most responsible course of action".

Two community surveys were sent out for feedback once the school year ended.   One asked for feedback on the distance model used at the end of the 2019-2020 school year, and the other had to do with access to technology, transportation needs and preferred learning model for the upcoming year.
