Body Discovered At Lake Mead

Foul Play Not Suspected

LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - National Park Service Rangers are investigating after a dead body was found inside a car at the Lake Mead National Recreation Area.

The body was discovered just after noon on Thursday by a park employee near the Echo Bay Wash, which is located at Mile Marker 33 on Northshore Road.

The Medical Examiner will confirm the victim's identity and determine the cause of death, but right now foul play is not suspected. The only information released to this point was that the man was 70 years old and had a Henderson address.
