LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - Metro Police say have arrested the man seen on surveillence video hitting an elderly man in the head as the man entered an east-side grocery store.

32-year-old Alex Solomon was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on the charge of suspicion of abuse of an older/vulnerable person.

Store video showed the suspect taking a swipe as the man was entering the store. The suspect, believed to be Solomon, then walks off.

The victim suffered minor injuries.

Late last week, Metro released a much clearer look at the suspect, which led to tips resulting in Solomon's arrest.
