Animal Foundation Holding 'Clear The Shelter' Event All Month
Fees Waived Through August On Most Dog And Cat Adoptions

LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - So maybe you've been couped up in your house for months due to COVID-19. That's no fun.
Imagine how a shelter animal feels.
Now, the Animal Foundation is giving you a chance to adopt a new best friend, and they're picking up the tab.
It's time to "Clear the Shelter" in Las #Vegas! @animalfndlv once again joining nationwide adoption event. This year, it goes all August! Adoption fees waived for dogs--& cats --6 months & older. The 'Clear The Shelters' event is usually just for one day, but the Foundation will be waiving fees for the entire month of August. The Foundation will waive fees for adopting a dog or cat that's 6 months or older.

COVID-19 has changed the way adoptions are done, though. Instead of just stopping by and browsing, the Animal Foundation is asking that those interested in adopting go to their website and look for an animal that they're interested in.
