LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - In the wake of the all the closures and layoffs related to the coronavirus outbreak in Las Vegas comes news of two giants that are looking for help.

Amazon has announced that it needs 100,000 workers to help with increased demand as many people are transitioning to mail order as opposed to shopping in person. For more details on applying with Amazon, you can click here.

Meanwhile, Smith's Food and Drug stores locally say they need bodies to help keep the shelves stocked as people engage in, for lack of a better term, "panic buying" of such staples as water, toilet paper, dry goods and non-perishable items.

Those interested in applying for a position at Smith's can click here or visit a local store.

Finally, Walmart says they're looking for 500 truck drivers to keep up with increasing demand as rules have been loosened over how much time truckers can spend on the road (14 hours now instead of just 11).
