Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - The Nye County Sheriff has arrested a man for firing more than 100 rounds of ammunition from his home on the southwest side of Pahrump Thursday night.

Police were called out to a home on Kings Way on complaints from the man's neighbors that said he had been firing weapons.

Upon arrival, police had to take immediate cover, with the NCSO tweeting out that they were taking on live fire.

Around 7:45pm, the NSCO tweeted out that the suspect, who police say had a history of making threats, had been taken into custody.

No officers were hurt. In fact, the NCSO says police didn't fire a single shot through the entire incident. More details are expected to be released on Friday.
