February 22, 2019 - 1:35 pm

LAS VEGAS (KXNT) - It only comes once a year to the Las Vegas Valley.

The Las Vegas-Clark County Library District will be the next stop on the Digital Bookmobile’s national tour! Rolling into the Rainbow Library parking lot, this 42-foot Toterhome travel trailer is tricked out with interactive workstations, touchscreen activities, devices to sample, and everything else readers need to learn more about all things digital. The Digital Bookmobile is staffed with e-reading experts, available to guide visitors through the process of borrowing digital media, offering hands-on tutorials and one-on-one training for library customers who want to learn how to download e-books and audiobooks. These materials are available to all library card holders.

The bookmobile will be at the Rainbow Library, located at 3150 N. Buffalo Drive, from 10:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. You can swing by the bookmobile, and be entered for a chance to win an e-reading tablet. The event is free and open to the public, however, organizers say bring your library card if you have one. If not, they can issue you one at the bookmobile.
