Lane Restrictions And Road Upgrades On St. Rose Pkwy. Start January 21

Maintenance Crews Will Be Filling Pavement In The Area

January 17, 2019 - 3:20 pm

HENDERSON, NV (KXNT) - The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) will be repairing roadway cracks along a 7-mile stretch of St. Rose Parkway (State Route 146) between Interstate 15 and the 215 Beltway from January 22-25 and again from January 28-31 in Henderson. Motorists can expect lane reductions through the work areas. Department maintenance crews will be crack filling pavement with an asphalt emulsion to reduce water infiltration and reinforce the roadbed. Improvements will take place from 5 a.m. until 2 p.m. daily, with crews working in moving operation.

“Crack filling prevents further roadway deterioration for a smoother, safer driving experience,” said NDOT spokesman Tony Illia. “It’s a cost-effective maintenance solution that extends the roadway’s lifecycle.”

Motorists should use caution while traveling through the work zone, heed construction signage, and take alternate detour routes, if possible. NDOT works with Waze to inform the public about planned highway restrictions, but unscheduled construction changes, closures, and restrictions are possible due to weather or other factors. For the latest state highway conditions, visit or call 511 before driving.

The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) will close the right lane along northbound U.S. Highway 95 between Jones Boulevard and Summerlin Parkway from 9 p.m., January 18, until 5 a.m., January 19, in Las Vegas. The Summerlin Parkway westbound exit ramp will also be closed during the same frame. The temporary closure is needed to replace an impact attenuator.
