City Of Las Vegas Launches Redesigned Website

New Site Focuses On Connecting Residents And Visitors To City Services

LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - The city of Las Vegas has launched a newly redesigned version of the city website, The site features a new refreshed look, and focuses on delivering information conveniently as well as connecting users to city services.

The refreshed site offers flexibility in how information is presented utilizing videos, images and more. The city worked with local web design firm AdLava to create 27 modular templates that offer the ability to tailor pages to make the site easier to use for our residents, businesses, and visitors. The new visual design is clean, professional and offers easy navigation and many ways to get to the services and information the city provides. Some new and upgraded features include:

-Additional space for video

-Pay section on the top navigation

-Cleaner look, with clear language

-Frequently visited page links as part of the search function

-Dedicated space for city blogs

The new site cost $157,000, and the city expects to see savings going forward because the site is built and maintained internally by the city’s Information Technologies Department.

In addition to the new site, the city offers many ways for residents to learn about what is happening in the city. The city offers award-winning programming through KCLV Channel 2 as well as on multiple streaming platforms. The city also has a robust social media presence and offers the free GOVegas app, which is available for free download for iOS from the Apple App Store and for Android at Google Play.
