Centennial Bowl Public Meeting Wednesday Night In Northwest Las Vegas

Project Will Relieve Congestion, Improve Efficiency And Enhance Safety

LAS VEGAS (KXNT) - The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT), in partnership with the City of Las Vegas, Clark County, and Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada, in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration invite the public to public information meeting about construction of the $73 million next phase of the Centennial Bowl in northwest Las Vegas.

The project calls for new ramps connecting eastbound 215 Beltway to southbound U.S. Highway 95, southbound U.S. Highway 95 to eastbound 215 Beltway, and northbound U.S. Highway 95 to westbound 215 Beltway. Additionally, this phase will remove the old N-to-W loop ramp, and a portion of the Oso Blanca ramp in preparation for improvements of Oso Blanca Road. The project will finish in the winter of 2020.

The informational meeting will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesday, February 27, 2019, at the Mountain Crest Community Center, located at 4701 N. Durango Drive in Las Vegas. A presentation will be made at 5:30 p.m., followed by a brief question and answer period.

This project will relieve congestion, improve efficiency and enhance safety in fast-growing northwest Las Vegas, while providing capacity for future growth and development. 

The public is encouraged to attend. Comments may be submitted for the public record in writing at the meeting or verbally to a court reporter who will be present at the meeting.
