LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - Attorneys for a man charged with killing two people in a drunk driving wreck in October pled not guilty to all charges in court on Tuesday.

Kevin Raspperry is currently being held in the Clark County Detention Center, accused of causing a crash that involved 7 vehicles back on October 27th. A 65 year-old man was killed in the crash. The man's wife suffered serious injuries.

Recently, Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson said he would be upping the charges in the case to include 2nd degree murder. Rapperry's attorney says such a charge was, in his words "utterly unsupported".

In addition to the 2nd-degree murder charge, Raspperry faces charges of  DUI, four counts of DUI resulting in substantial bodily harm or death, four counts of reckless driving, and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.

Raspperry remains jailed on $100,000 bail. A status check in the case is scheduled for Thursday
