LAS VEGAS, NV (AP) - Rainy weather was blamed for multiple crashes during the morning commute in and around Las Vegas on Tuesdaymorning, including one that left a school bus on its side.

Clark County school police Sgt. Bryan Zink said no children were on the bus, but the driver and another school employee were taken to University Medical Center after the crash a little after 7 a.m. along the westbound Southern Beltway at Durango.

The Nevada Highway Patrol says there were two other school bus crashes elsewhere on the same freeway, but no children were aboard those buses either.

Trooper Travis Smaka attributed the crashes to slick road conditions. The exact cause of the bus rollover hasn't been determined. The crash scene was cleared by 9:30am.
