WASHINGTON (AP) — As part of his Las Vegas stay this week, today President Trump will be attending a "Hope For Prisoners" event at the headquarters of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department on Martin Luther King and Alta.

The event begins at 11:30am and is not open to the public. Hope For Prisoners is a local program that helps ex-inmates as they re-enter society following their incarceration

Afterward, the President will jet off to a rally in Colorado Springs. Expect roads around Mccarran Airport to be affected around 1pm. Air Force One is scheduled to depart McCarran at 1:15pm

After the rally, the Presdient returns to Las Vegas for another night at the Trump International Hotel. Air Force One is expected to arrive at McCarran at 7:45pm, so roads in the area at that time will be affected.

To cap off his stay in Southern Nevada, the president will be holding a rally on Friday at noon at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The public is invited to attend the rally, but must register first by going here.

We can expect some traffic restrictions as the presidential motorcade goes to and from Trump Internation Hotel and McCarran Airport, but no specific routes and times have been given to protect the president's safety.
