LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - A North Las Vegas police officer suffered minor injuries early Friday after his patrol car was rammed by a fleeing suspect.

The incident began around 2:30am after police attempted to stop what they determined to be a suspicious vehicle near Decatur and Tropical Parkway.

At first the driver of the vehicle complied and stopped, but shortly afterward rammed the officers' squad car. That's how the minor injuries were caused.

A second officer in the squad then fired upon the car. It's not known if the driver of the suspicious vehicle was hit.

As of late Friday morning, no one has been taken into custody, nor has a vehicle description or license plate number been given out.
